If
you're tired of spending countless hours renaming your digital camera
pictures to something that actually makes sense then we have just

will rename, resort and reorganize hundreds
of picture files in seconds preserving the original file

The
Problem
Typically,
all of your digital images will be copied to a single folder on
your hard drive and will have meaningless names like image001.jpg,
image002.jpg, etc.
The
folder below might resemble your picture folder.
The
Solution
After
taking down some basic information PictureSort renames and reorganizes
your pictures. The resulting images will be placed in their own
folders and will look similar to the screen shot below.
The
Process
PictureSort
requires that you follow three easy steps to rename and reorganize
your pictures.
Step
1: Selecting the Pictures you want renamed.
Simply
select the folder which contains your pictures and click enter.
Next,
select the pictures you want renamed. A preview will appear
in the upper right corner. You can select multiple pictures
by holding down your mouse button and scrolling up or down. You
can also start from any location and skip files by holding
the CTRL key while selecting an item.
After
you're done selecting the files you want renamed, click Add and
go on to step 2. It's that easy!
Step
2: Selecting the Prefix Name.
The
prefix name is the name that will appear in front of the file number.
This is usually a name
that
describes the images you're about to rename. (Ex: Summer Vacation)
You
will immediately see a sample of your renamed pictures.
Step
3: Selecting the Output Folder.
If
you want your pictures neatly organized in folders that match the
pictures description simply click Finish. If you want your pictures
placed in the original folder or if you would like to place them
in a new folder and delete the orignals select the appropriate option.
PictureSort
does not alter pictures which are already in an existing directory.
This means that PictureSort will continue adding renamed pictures
from the last indexed position and will not delete or overwrite
your precious memories.
PictureSort
can also create a backup copy of ALL renamed pictures.
Step
4: Done
The
pictures are renamed, reorganized and placed in their appropriate
folder in just a few seconds.
